Rail jobs

Britain's railway is growing, and has been doing so for the last 20 years, during which time passenger numbers doubled. Like many industries it is facing a skills crisis as its workforce ages, with many due to retire in the next few years. It's a great time to join the rail industry, especially for women.

It's also a great time for younger members of the rail industry to join Railfuture, to help us campaign for better services over a bigger railway, and to work with our volunteers, many of whom work in the railway along with some recently-retired rail industry leaders.

We offer discounted membership for members of Young Rail Professionals, and anyone holding a 16-25 railcard can attend our conferences at a reduced rate (even if they are not a member).
