Wednesday will be a red letter day for the newly reopened station at Corby, Northamptonshire.

Train operator East Midlands Trains is giving local people the chance to travel anywhere on its network for £10 (children £5) for its Red Dot Day – 22 July 2009.

"This is good way of introducing more passengers to Corby station and giving them an affordable day out in the capital, towns, cities or the seaside," said David Fursdon from the East Midlands branch of Railfuture.

“We are delighted Corby has been chosen as the first Red Dot Day and we are sure it will popular here and also in other stations run by EMT in the future.

“There has been a lot of interest already for Corby's Red Dot Day and it's easy to
take advantage of this offer by calling in at the station to collect a flyer giving full details."

You can fill in an online form and take it to Corby station to take advantage of this offer. See reddotday.co.uk

Railfuture members will receive a flyer by return of post if they send an SAE to David Fursdon, 9 Southfield Road, Gretton, Corby, Northants NN17 3BX.
