The group plans to apply for permission to run trains from next year under the open access rules.

It also has plans to run bus and light rail feeder services to the stations where its trains run.

Go! Co-operative Ltd, based in Bristol, says it has raised over £50,000 from investors and plan to raise another £100,000.
