- November 2025 - Devon & Torbay Combined County Authority Board meeting on 24th November due to adopt at Agenda item 6 the Corporate Plan 2025-35, which includes this in its Transport section: "DELIVER PRIORITY SCHEMES IDENTIFIED IN THE LOCAL TRANSPORT PLAN • Rail station projects including Edginswell Station in Torbay and Cullompton Station in Mid Devon, Okehampton Interchange in West Devon and support and lobby for upgrades to the Tarka rail line" plus "Pilot integrated ticketing and fare simplification across bus and rail networks." (page 19).
- March 2026 - third annual Convention of the Northern Devon Railway Development Alliance.
- March 2026 - 9-day engineering improvement works on North Devon Line, Saturday 21st to Sunday 29th inclusive, road replacement transport services. Track renewals north of Lapford station and immediately south of Barnstaple station.
